| Strictly Come Dancing is a Celebrity Dance competition that sees 10 local celebrities each paired with a professional dancer in order to learn the Latin and Ballroom 10-Dance programme. Winner of the South African Golden Horn Award for Best Variety show in 2007, we have recently completed the 5th season for SABC 2. The show involves all the major challenges associated with big stage productions, coupled with the technical artistry of live, on-site broadcasting. With a cast and crew of more than 200 and a weekly live broadcast of 90 minutes, Strictly Come Dancing provides a showcase for Rapid Blue’s production capacity, world class skill and experience. All this professionalism is evident in the end product that went out live on Thursday evenings at 7:30 on SABC 2. It's worth noting that Strictly Come Dancing is one of the most watched and appreciated shows on South African television. The next series of Strictly Come Dancing will be aired on SABC2 during 2010. |
