| Beijing Olympics - The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games for Africa | |
| During August 2008 Rapid Blue produced the Olympic Games broadcast for all of sub-Saharan Africa (37 African countries). This involved sending two satellite feeds for 6 hours of broadcasting daily in three languages: English, French and Portuguese. We also edited and broadcast a 2-hour highlights package during every day of the games. As part of the Olympic Games transmission, Rapid Blue also provided programming celebrating Africa and the Olympics. Rapid Blue is part of ABN (Africa Broadcast Network) and as such are the commercial broadcast partners to the Africa Union of Broadcasts. |
